Selling a home this spring? It’s an excellent time to learn more about the process so there are no big surprises waiting around the corner. Here’s a quick home-selling tip for your consideration:
Make sure you work with your real estate agent to get educated about condition, type of sale, and price for other homes around the area. What have comparable homes sold for in the past month, three months or six months? How quickly did they sell? Were there multiple offers? Did it sell for more than list price?
You have to know your competition in order to be a good competitor. Go to a few of the open houses in the neighborhood and do a reality check for real estate in the local area. Buyers who see your home will also see other homes, and you want the comparison to come out in favor of your house.
